Jack Petchey Foundation Achievement Award
Kit has been awarded £200 from the Jack Petchey Foundation Achievement Award
Kit has been working continuously hard on the radio project run at Dragon Hall. His participation was placed on rung 8 of Hart’s ladder of Participation due to the fact he came to the staff with an idea of a urban music show and took the time to produce and pick content for the show himself.
He has shown an enormous amount of maturity in doing so, as well as being a continuous supporter of the work we do at Dragon Hall and has been a member since he was 8 years old at in the junior club run here.
The winner’s £200 will be spent on a Go Karting trip to F1 Karting in Essex. This trip will be organised by Kit with the support of staff for during the summer holidays. It will cost £35 per person and this allows 2hrs for the session.
We will most likely be going at the start of August as the school term will be finished and our summer holiday term begins. We will take around 7 people from the Radio project that Kit will choose and Dragon Hall inters will fundraise for the rest of the money for travel and food, the remaining karting expenses.
