Good morning all – hope that your weekend went well?
Today marks 42 days of Lockdown – wow can you believe it. For me the time has gone fast, but for many this period has been a very difficult time. To support you through this period we can offer the following:
- Regular phone call (even daily)
- Support with shopping
- Free Food Parcel
- Zoom activities
- Signposting you to advice (benefits, IT problems, health related)

FOOD / SHOPPING
Foodbank – this service has begun in earnest, Phil and his volunteers are now getting FREE food parcels to residents in the local area. We are flexible with regards to who we can help. If you fit the following criteria, please contact us:
- Self Isolation due to symptoms
- Isolation due to vulnerable or shielded status
- Income reduction because of lockdown & crisis measures
- Income reduction while waiting for benefits to arrive
- Homeless

I did ‘Your Yoga’ that was sent to us this morning, and this was also received, so I did it straight away, very good, I am healthily puffed! This fun indoor cardio walking workout features both power walking in place as well as other fun low impact moves that will get your heart pumping while burning tons of calories.

Taxicard changes for londoners with disabilities
London Councils has announced changes to the Taxicard scheme that will help Londoners with disabilities during the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic. Participating boroughs have agreed that any Taxicard member can now ask drivers to pick up and deliver essential supplies to them, and can allow friends, family members or carers to travel on their behalf using their Taxicard for the same purpose.
