Minecraft Realm
Due to popular demand and repeated requests from members of the After School Club at Dragon Hall we have jumped in at the deep end and created our very own Minecraft Realm. Using Raspberry Pi and Python, break blocks, build a tower, build a fortress or a tunnel under a lake. Join together with friends and build your own blocky world. The sessions are led by James – a developer from King Digital Entertainment (makers of the Candy Crush Saga).

About Minecraft
If you don’t know anything about Minecraft then this is the blurb on their homepage…
‘Minecraft is a game about breaking and placing blocks. At first, people built structures to protect against nocturnal monsters, but as the game grew players worked together to create wonderful, imaginative things.
It can also be about adventuring with friends or watching the sun rise over a blocky ocean. It’s pretty. Brave players battle terrible things in The Nether, which is more scary than pretty. You can also visit a land of mushrooms if it sounds more like your cup of tea. So far 18,594,933 people bought the PC/Mac version of the game. Phew.’
It is fun. Have a go…
