ENO – Dress Rehearsal of Jenůfa, by Leoš Janáček
Monday 11th March 2024, 14:00 to 17:00
Czech composer Leoš Janáček most celebrated opera. We have 30 tickets.
Jenůfa is a heart-breaking story of honour, love and sacrifice in a small community. The Guardian calls it a “fast-moving, emotionally rich, musically extraordinary [opera with a] plot straight out of soap opera.”

Tai Chi is an internal Chinese martial art practiced for self-defense and health.

Mindful Walk in Green Park
11:45 – 13:15 Wednesday 20th March 2024, & Wednesday 27th March.
Led by Christine Coker, a trained walk leader and mindfulness practitioner. The walk is at a gentle pace with stops along the way to pause, reflect and make conversation. Please wear appropriate footwear and weather-appropriate clothes – we walk in sun or rain! Bring water with you…
Friday Lunch Club
For the Over 55s we have a Lunch Club at CGCC every Friday. Chef Karol cooks up some very tasty dishes each week. Booking in advance is ESSENTIAL! To do that you need to send an email to manager@cgcc.org.uk. We open booking one week before – no exceptions!

One to One Advice Sessions
One to one advice on debt, benefits, housing or other general issues. Free
Sessions are on Wednesdays and last one hour. Appointments are essential.
Tea Dance
Saturday 23rd March 12:30 – 16:00 @ Dragon Hall
Come along with your dancing shoes and join Edurne as she leads our next Tea Dance. A mixture of dance workshop and social dancing.
