Huge thanks to Dragon Hall volunteer Richard Wilson, who led our group along the River from Deptford to Greenwich and all the winding roads in between. During the walk, Richard provided a wonderful insight into the history of the docks and the regeneration of the area.It was a wonderful two and a half hours plus and we all deserved a cup of tea (or something stronger) afterwards ... As part of Dragon Hall's timetable, we organise regular health walks. Yesterday our wonderful volunteer, Richard, led a group from Canada Water to London Bridge. Along the way, Richard shared his in depth knowledge of the area, providing a history lesson as well as a healthy ramble!We finished our walk by viewing the Chimpanzee trail, 28 bronze chimpanzees by the River Thames, a free art trail to support conservation projects.Everyone enjoyed the morning and the cup of tea afterwards ... Members of Dragon Hall attended the special Community Preview last Sunday of Feminine power: the divine to the demonic; celebrates the power and diversity of the divine female in world culture and belief, from the ancient world to today.This is what one member said of the visit: Thank you Dragon Hall for another ‘good’un’ today : and not even crowded.
